Structure and working principle of grate cooler

The grate cooler is composed of an upper casing, a lower casing, a grate bed, a grate bed gear drive, a grate bed support device, a clinker crusher, an overflow latch, a full-automatic lubrication device, and a cooling wind generator set.




The hot clinker is discharged from the kiln mouth and falls into the grate bed. Under the push of the reciprocating grate plate message, it spreads all over the total length of the grate bed, producing a certain thin and thick bed. The cooling air blows upward into the material layer from the direction under the bed, infiltrates and diffuses outward, and cools the hot clinker. The cooling air that cools the mature baby turns into warm air. The high-temperature warm air at the hot end is used to ignite gas into the kiln and dissolution furnace (pre dissolution kiln system software), and part of the warm air can also be used for drying. The application of warm air can achieve direct expansion, so as to reduce the target of heat consumption of system software; Unnecessary warm air will be discharged into the air after dust removal. A small piece of cooled clinker falls into the belt conveyor behind the grate cooler through the grate screen; The block clinker is collected into the belt conveyor after crushing and re cooling; Fine sand clinker and smoke and dust fall into the asphalt mixing hopper according to the grate seam and grate hole of the grate bed. When the material level in the bucket reaches a certain height width ratio, the air lock gate valve of the material level sensing technology control system will be fully automatically opened, and the fallen coarse material will enter the overflow lock machine under the machine and be transported away. When the residual coarse material in the bucket is far away from the self sealing deadlock air gate valve, the valve plate has been closed to ensure that it is not easy to ventilate.




The characteristics of modern grate cooler are high cooling efficiency, high burning utilization rate and high operation rate. In order to achieve good performance, the design scheme of grate bed is important. The grate bed of TC grate cooler is divided into the following three parts:




(1) Powder layer: that is, clinker quenching area and direct expansion area. TC type "air pumping beam" equipment is used in this area, and five rows of "mobile air pumping beam" are developed in the front end, with an inclination of 15 °; After the event, the four rows are "theme movable air pumping beams", with an inclination of 3 °. The adoption of TC type "pumping beam" equipment in the powder layer is the basic premise for TC grate cooler to achieve high cooling efficiency, high burning utilization rate and high operation rate. Attention should be paid to the use of "mobile air pumping beam" equipment. The greater advantage is that it greatly reduces the repair rate of mechanical equipment of the hot end grate bed, which fully ensures the operation rate of the grate cooler. Because the grate bed in the area directly facing the kiln opening adopts the "mobile air pumping beam" equipment, the hot clinker is easy to deposit. Although the cooling exhaust air volume can be adjusted to control the thickness of the running material, in order to prevent the deposition of "snow Doll" and block clinker balls, a group of air cannons are refitted on the top cover to "fire" according to the specific interruption, and appropriately remove the excessive running material, so as to ensure the smooth and safe practical operation.




(2) Medium temperature zone: adopt low overflow grate plate, which has asphalt mixture groove and intermittent vent. Due to the high cooling wind, it has high friction resistance of natural ventilation of grate plate, so it has the excellent effect of reducing the harm of uneven friction resistance of material layer, which is beneficial to the further cooling and direct expansion of clinker.




(3) Ultra low temperature zone, namely post cooling zone. After the cooling of TC grate area and low overflow grate area in the front-end development, the clinker has been significantly reduced in temperature, so the general fuller grate is still used in this area, which can complete the provisions on the characteristics of the equipment
